Kelly P. (Smith) Mize

Clearwater - Kelly Patrice (Smith) Mize was born on February 26, 1964 to Donald (Pat) and Linda Smith. She and Eric Mize were united in marriage from March 12, 1983 until her death on August 1st, 2022 spending 39 years together. She was preceded in death by her father, Pat Smith. Kelly is survived by mother, Linda Smith; husband, Eric; son, Logan (Jill) Mize, grandchildren Lincoln and Violet; daughter, Erica (Jacob) Allen, and grandsons Gage and Montana. Aside from being a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother Kelly spent 20+ years working in public education where she was very well respected by students and colleagues alike. In the final months of her terminal diagnosis she penned her first book, "Preparing for Metamorphosis: Life after the Worst Diagnosis". The book is available in all formats on major online retailers.

Visitation, Noon-7pm, Wed. Aug. 3rd, with family present, 5:30-7pm, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. 
Funeral service will be at 2pm, Thurs, Aug. 4th at Clearwater United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Clearwater Cemetery following the service.
