Violet “Chris” Lucas, age 85, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026. 

Memorial Service, 1pm, Friday, March 27 at Calvary Baptist Church, Derby.

Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Lucas; parents, Clifford and Opal Rose; sisters, Fern Bohanan and Gloria Schwind. She is survived by her children, Tonya (Steve) Morford of Wichita and Landon Lucas of Mulvane; sister, Nadine Davis of Derby; brother-in-law, David Schwind; grandchildren, Shawna (Brandon) Goode, Morgan Rae (JJ) Romanski, Denten (Victorya) Dester, Promise Anne (Gus) Bloyer, Joley Lucas, Bear Lucas, Landrie Lucas, Vivienne Lucas; great-grandchildren, Owen, Elijah, Olivia and Elsie Goode, Noah Dester.
