Velma “Jean” was born Monday July 31, 1933 in Wagoner, OK to James Clyde and Sophie (Neasby) Walters. She was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Cantrell on December 23, 1950 in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Preceded in death by her spouse, Bob Cantrell; parents, James and Sophie Walters.

Survivors: son, Larry (Bridget) Cantrell, of Andover; daughter, Carolyn Cantrell, of Andover; sister, Judy Rogers of Wagoner, OK; granddaughter, Ashley (Chris) Matthews of Overland Park, KS; great-grandchildren, Isabella Smithson, Sterling Smithson, Reagan Matthews, Bishop Matthews, and Titan Matthews; great-great grandchild, Giavanna Smithson.
