Vada Ruth (King) Tjaden, age 102, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Visitation, Friday, April 24 from 5-7 with family present at Webb Shinkle Mortuary and Funeral Service, 10am, Saturday, April 25, at Clearwater United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Herman Tjaden, Jr.; parents, Vivian and Viola (David) King; son, Roger Tjaden; grandchildren, Kim Steiner and Kurt Waterson; siblings, Cecil King and Dorothy Eis.
Survived by children, Neal (Karen) Tjaden of Clearwater, KS and Dena (Bill) Kliewer of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Christy (Matt) Freeman, Kevin (Rebecca) Tjaden, and Keith (Jamie) Tjaden all of Clearwater, KS and Dauna (Todd) Herman of Burlingame, KS; 15 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren.
