Visitation, 9am-7pm, Thursday, July 22, with family present 5:30-7pm, at Shinkle Mortuary, Haysville.
Graveside Services, Friday, July 23, 1:30pm, at Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield.
Preceded by wife, Teresa Askren; grandson, Timothy Askren; parents, Robert and Mary (Record) Askren; siblings, Clyde Askren, Kenneth Askren, Hazel Franklin, Sherman Askren, Harry Askren.
Survived by children, Timothy (Susan) Askren of Derby and Tammy (Darwin) Askren-Carroll of Florien, LA; grandchildren, Travis Franklin, Joshua Carroll, Derek Askren, Stephanie Relf, Chad Askren, Scotty Carroll, Emily Hentschel; 10 great-grandchildren.
