Ted J. Toon

Clearwater- Ted J. Toon, age 83, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Toon was born on Monday, October 8, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas. He was one of eight children born to James Adrian Toon and Alma Emelia (Leis) Toon. Mr. Toon married Katherine Price on January 29, 1955, together they were owners of Price Truck Line until his retirement in 1999. Ted is survived by his wife of 63 years, Katherine; children, Joyce (Joe) Schmeidler, Ed Toon, Diane (Mark) Callaway, Julie (John) Bergkamp, Craig Toon, Alma (Randy) Pauly, James (Janet) Toon, Linda (Chuck) Duke, Phillip (Suzann) Toon, Gerard (Terri) Toon, Tricia (David) Hill; 32 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Karon Jaxx, Janie Schierlman; brothers, Kenneth and Tom Toon. Preceded in death by parents, James and Alma; brothers, Keith, J.D., and sister, Joyce. Visitation, 9am-4pm, Friday, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm on Friday and a Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, in Schulte.
