Steve Cotton, age 68, retired project manager for Bombardier Learjet, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Visitation, 9am-4pm, Tuesday, July 25, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Rosary, 7pm, Tuesday, July 25; Funeral Mass, 10:30am, Wednesday, July 26, both at St. John's Catholic Church, Clonmel. Steve was born on Sunday, July 10, 1949 in Kingman, Kansas. He was the second oldest of six children born to Leon and Mildred Cotton. On October 14, 1972, he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Wells at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clonmel. Steve served proudly in the U.S. Navy. Preceded by parents, Leon and Mildred (Gilges) Cotton; brothers, Phillip and Gregory Cotton. Survivors: wife, Barbara; sons, Steven (Amanda) Cotton of Viola, Brian (Amber) Cotton and Nicholas (Crystal) Cotton all of Clearwater; siblings, Carol (Paul) Clark of Clearwater, Kay (Jerry) Harris of Clearwater, Dana (Robert) Fitzsimmons of Winfield, MO; sister-in-law, Jeanine Cotton of Wichita; grandchildren, Trent, Sarah, Ireland, Emily, Joseph, Cooper and Lakin Cotton.
