Visitation, Sunday, June 6, 1-4pm, with family present 2:30-4pm, and Services, Monday, June 7, 10am, BOTH at Shinkle Mortuary, Haysville.

Preceded by parents,Vincent and Beatrice Schmitz; brother, Fred Schmitz.

Survived by wife, Carol; children, Christine (Ryan) Lavers, Eric (Laura) Schmitz all of Haysville, Radek Holy of Wichita; siblings, Randy (Donna) Schmitz of Jesup, IA, Rick (Marilyn) Schmitz of Gilbertville, IA, Roxanne (Rich) Gavigan of Evansdale, IA, Kevin Schmitz of Evansdale, IA, Russell Schmitz of Hazleton, IA, Suzanne (Steve) Manross of Waverly, IA; grandchildren, Justin, Brooklyn, Cheyenne, Ayden, Braiden, Maddison, Chase, Peyton; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Jayden, Ava Lynn.
