Clearwater - Patricia “Pat” (Dyer) Wise, age 77, ret. Home Bank & Trust VP Loan Officer, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Visitation, 9am-7pm, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, with family present 5:30-7pm, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Services, 10am, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Clearwater United Methodist Church. Pat was born on Tuesday, March 28, 1944 in Wichita, KS. She was the second born daughter to Wendell and Anita (Heitman) Dyer. She was born and raised on the farm 3-4 miles south of Clearwater. She attended  Clearwater schools and graduated in 1961. Then the family moved into Clearwater in 1962, after her father passed away. She then attended a year of schooling Emporia State. She worked for Haysville State Bank, then Home State Bank in Clearwater and finally Home Bank & Trust in Wichita, where she retired from in December 2014. She was united in marriage to Gary Wise on February 9, 1968 in Wichita, KS. They lived in Gary’s family home, south of Clearwater, all of their married lives. She was a member of the Clearwater Nursing Home Board and the local investment club. Pat enjoyed playing bridge, cooking for her family and working in her yard.

Preceded in death by husband, Gary; parents, Wendell and Anita (Heitman) Dyer.  Survivors: sons, Jim Wise of Clearwater, Dr. Daniel Wise of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Karon Farney of Wichita; grandchildren, Travis (Britany) Wise and Jillian Wise; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Mason, Aiden, Mia, Jocelyn, Tucker and Jack; niece, Michalle King of Wichita; nephew, Shawn Farney of Wichita.
