Cooper mother of Charles and Scott; wife Ellen Girrens mother of Michael and Carter; wife, Marian (Green) Girrens; brothers, Lawrence, Donald and twin brother Louis Girrens; sisters, Cathryn Nillies, Leona Schauf, Regina Robben, Lucille Mainz, Gladys Abbott, and Mary Louise Girrens.

Survivors: sons, Charles Girrens and Susan Morse of Bentley, KS, Scott (Lynette) Girrens of Farmington, NM, Michael (Monica) Girrens of Wichita, KS, Carter (Kathy) Girrens of Wichita, KS; sister, Rosemary (Ben) Olmstead of Pompano Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren.
