Melvin L. Wohlford, age 86, retired Construction Superintendent, was born March 24, 1936 and passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Visitation, 9am-7pm, Thursday, December 1, with family present from 5:30-7pm at Shinkle Mortuary, Haysville. Services, 10:30am, Friday, December 2 at Haysville United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Vinita Cemetery, Cheney.

Preceded by his first wife, Shirley (Rausch) Wohlford; second wife, Thelma (Moore) Shinn Wohlford; parents, Ansel and Lillie (Reno) Wohlford; siblings, Bobby, Paul, and Charles Wohlford, Marjorie Wohlford, and Velma Anderson. Survivors: sons, Doug (Sheryl) Wohlford of Wichita, Mark (Kathy) Wohlford of Mulvane; sisters, Helen Keeling of Kingman, Laveda Schneider of Punta Gorda, FL; brother, Phillip (Judy) Wohlford of Cheney; brother-in-law, Don Anderson of Mulvane; grandsons, Jeff (Brandy) Wohlford and Jason Wohlford; great-grandson, Paxton and a host of nieces and nephews.
