age 88, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. Visitation, Thurs, 9am-7pm with family present 5:30-7pm, at Shinkle Mortuary, 146 N. Lamar, Haysville. Services, 1:30pm, Friday, at Prairie Trail Cowboy Church, Haysville. Preceded by parents Lloyd and Josephine (Bender) Veach; brother, Arthur Veach; son-in-law, Daryl Winegar; great-grandsons, Tyler Fidler and Mel Veach IV; step-sons, Ted and Mike McNutt. Survived by wife Lea; children, Deborah Jacobs, Lani Winegar, Penny (Larry) Lusk all of Derby, Melvin Veach, Jr. and Cynthia Veach both of Wichita, Candace Veach of Santa Monica, CA, Vince (Lori) Veach of Lenexa; step-daughter, Jeanne (Ted) Warcholik of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Ralph Veach of Derby, Jerry Logan of Loveland, CO, Dot (Russ) Russell of Rockingham, NC, Joetta (Bill) Vredenburg of Park City, Connie Gruver of Scott City; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren.
