MaryLynn Howell

MaryLynn Howell, age 93, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026. MaryLynn was a retired Southwestern Bell Operator of 44 years. She loved writing poems and taking care of her yard.

Visitation with family present from 5-7pm, Monday, August 3 and Services, 10am, Tuesday, August 4, both at Shinkle Mortuary, 146 N. Lamar Ave, Haysville.

MaryLynn was preceded in death by her son, Roger Howell; grandson, Beau Blake; parents, Hugh and Mary Royse; siblings, Alvena Spurrier, Joyce Kelly and Fred Royce. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Bernie) Blake of Haysville; sister, Susan Eppard of Augusta; grandchildren, Brandon Blake, Bernie Blake, Roger Howell II, Felicia Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Braden, Meilah, Bentley, Lyla, Lincoln, Hayden, Dani, Bella, Klaus and Kara.
