Kathryn was born on Sunday, May 16, 1937 in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Thurman Dale Parvin on December 31, 1955 in Batesville, Arkansas.
Preceded by parents Guy and Opal (Horton) Sharp; daughter, Nancy Cardwell; brothers, Travis and Steven Sharp. Survived by husband Thurman; daughter, Brenda (David) Tipton of Maumelle, AR; son, Jeremy (Kelly) Parvin of Deland, FL; sisters, Hildred Johnson of Ash Flat, AR, Minnie Martin of Memphis, TN, Kay Heintz, Maxine Seiwert both of St. Louis, MO, Paula Romine of Ash Flat, AR; brothers, Dale (Lynn) Sharp, Jack (Ginger) Sharp all of Jonesboro, AR, Jesse (Melinda) Sharp Beebe, AR; sister-in-law, Ann Bergkemp; grandchildren, Matt (Jenny) Tipton of Charlottesville, VA, Tyler Tipton of Little Rock, AR.
