Haysville- Lillis Gail (Fleming) Bowmaker, age 85, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. Visitation 9am-4pm, Monday, November 5, 2018, at Shinkle Mortuary, 146 N. Lamar, Haysville. Rosary, 6pm, Monday. Funeral Mass, 10am, Tuesday, November 6, 2018, BOTH at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Haysville.

Gail was born on Wednesday, March 1, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas. She was the only child born to Lawrence and Lillis Ruth (Lanigan) Fleming.

Gail was united in marriage to Donald Dean "Rattlesnake Pete" Bowmaker on May 16, 1952 in El Paso, Texas. Don preceded her in death on May 8, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don “Rattlesnake Pete” Bowmaker; parents, Lawrence and Lillis Ruth (Lanigan) Fleming; granddaughter, Shannon Bowmaker. Survivors: sons, Herb (Wilma) Bowmaker of Wichita, Gary (Eileen) Bowmaker of Haysville, Tom (Janice) Bowmaker of Willard, MO, Jim Bowmaker, Tony Bowmaker, all of Wichita. 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
