Leon W. McCurry, age 90, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Visitation, 9am-7pm, Thursday, April 22, 2021, with family present 5:30-7pm, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Services, 2pm, Friday, April 23, 2021, at Faith Renewal Church, Wichita.

Leon was born on Thursday, February 12, 1931 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Velma Mae Beagley McCammon on June 1, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Preceded by parents, Arthur and Vera (House) McCurry; son, Floyd McCammon; great-granddaughter, Lilliana Jennings. Survivors: wife, Velma; children, Mary Dossey of Brady, TX, Patricia McCurry of NC, Arthur McCurry of Wichita, Eva Jones of Clearwater; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren.
