Visitation, 9:30am, Saturday January 25, and Funeral Services 10:30am, Saturday January 25 BOTH at Trinity United Christian Church 416 N Washington St, Cheney, KS 67025.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth (Parsons) Compton; parents, Alson and Zama (Scammehorn) Compton; siblings, Roy, Harold, Glenn, Earl, and Bob Compton, Mary Jane Alloway, and Esther Fornshell.
Survived by wife, Nelva (McCary) Compton; children, Kevin (Phyllis) Compton of Maize, Kirsten Bolinger of Dallas, TX, Kip (Beth) Compton of Frisco, TX; grandchildren, Shawnae (Brandt) Ditgen, Jenny Compton, Abigail (Jefferson) Peak, Eric (Payton) Compton; Trista (Trey) Nance, Sara (Bryce) Cummings, and Maxwell Compton; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Homer Compton.
