Larry O. Nickels

Larry O. Nickels, age 86, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Larry worked at Lear Jet/Bombardier in many different positions ranging from machinist to inspector of many different departments . He also ran a part-time electrical business and trenching business called Nickels Electric and then Nickels Trenching and Repair.  Larry was a long time member and Elder at the Clearwater Church of Christ.

Funeral Services, Saturday May 24 at 10AM, Clearwater Church of Christ, 13900 Diagonal Rd, Clearwater, KS.

Preceded in death by parents, Kay and Liddie (Knight) Nickels; daughter, Carla Rey, grandson, Malachi Rey; siblings, Maudie Taylor, Virginia Leslie, and Clifford Nickels.

Survived by loving wife, Frances (Thompson) Nickels; children, Jim Nickels of Viola, Cena (Bill) Harvey of Garden Plain, and Carol (Clifford) Manes of Clearwater; grandchildren, Dev (Kristi) Rey, Nicole (Wayne) Hackler, Christene (Seth) Buckley, Janelle (Keithon) Walter, Scott (Jessica) Harvey, Joseph (Mikala) Harvey, Larry Manes, Dean Manes, and Laura (Mike) Alarcon; three step-children; twelve great-grandchildren.
