Joseph R. Greene, age 72, former Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Boeing, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, January 5, 2026.

Funeral Mass, 10:30am, Tuesday, January 13, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church 11000 W Southwest Blvd, Wichita, KS 67215.

Preceded in death by parents, George and Loudell (Biffle) Greene; daughter, Jennifer Greene; siblings, Mona Lisa Swartz and Sheila Pierce.

Survived by wife, Julie (Campbell) Greene; children, Joseph (Cristal) Greene, Jr. of Green River WY, Erika (Rodney) Van Hook of London, KY, Travis (Teryl) Shepler of Goddard, KS; grandchildren, Britney Van Hook, Angelina Webb, Elizabeth Van Hook, Courtney Van Hook, Aaron Van Hook, Noelle Greene, and Garrett Greene; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, James Burton of Wichita and Kyla Aiken of Young Harris, GA.
