Johnny R. Hough, age 76, retired social studies teacher, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Visitation, Thursday, January 22, 1-7PM with family present from 5:30-7PM at Webb Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S Tracy, Clearwater, KS. Funeral service, Friday, January 23, 10AM at First Christian Church, 524 Wood Ave, Clearwater, KS. Burial will follow at 2PM, Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge, KS.

Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Margarett (Lonker) Hough; brother, Dan Hough.

Survived by children, Maggie (Jeff) Topping of Wichita, KS, Corey Hough of Ft. Collins, CO, and Kyle (Crystal) Hough of Wichita, KS; sister, Teresa (Doug) Clarkson of Mound Ridge, KS; eight grandchildren.
