Rev. John J. Bliss, Jr., age 81, retired minister who answered God’s calling by faithfully serving wherever God led, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020.

Visitation, 6-8pm, February 4, with family present.

Celebration of Life Service, 2pm, Wednesday, February 5, BOTH at West Haysville Baptist Church, Haysville.

Preceded by parents, John and Ada (Dorsey) Bliss; 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Survived by wife, Sally; daughters, Dawn (George) Mathews, Deborah McCullough, Dana Bliss all of Haysville, Jonnye (Brad) Holding of St. Paul; 8 grandchildren; 26 3/4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild -- Jennifer (Cody) Rogers, Stephanie (Jeff) Lamkins, Teresa (Craig) Anderson, Tanner Conley, Jerrod Conley, Madison (Justin) Plott, Madilyn Rogers, Paige Lamkins, Jordan Campbell, Gage Campbell, Annabelle Lamkins, Katelyn Lamkins, Traeger Lamkins, Elijah Lamkins, Landen Anderson, Hayden Anderson, Braden Anderson, Christopher Conley, Kristin (Cody) Rexwinkle, Amy (Randy) Ware, Jacob (Jo) McCullough, Kodi Rexwinkle, Cali Rexwinkle, Skylar Ware, Jostin Ware, Bentley Schmidt, Ty McCullough, Taysleigh McCullough, Tresten McCullough, Kenny Holding, James (Dakota) Holding, Sophia White Holding, Kenlee Holding, Adalynn Holding, (3/4) Owen Michael Holding; plus many other family and friends.
