Jerry Dean Means, age 68, Vietnam War Vet, former Dillon’s Cust. Serv. Mgr/ Owner of Cake Stuff, lost his battle with cancer and was taken to join the Lord on Monday, March 5, 2018. Rosary, Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 6pm, Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation, 9am-8pm, Friday, March 9th, w/family present, 6-8pm, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Funeral Mass, 10:00am, Saturday, March 10th, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Jerry was born on Thursday, September 8, 1949 in Alva, Oklahoma to his parents, Joe Dean Means and Nadene Eva (Paph) Means. He was united in marriage on July 29, 1977 at St. Joseph Church in Wichita, Kansas. Preceded by parents, Joe and Nadene (Paph) Means. Survivors: wife of 40 years, Dee; daughters, Heather (Mark Swantic) Means of Port St. Lucie, Fl, Brianne (Mike) Vail of Wichita; brothers, Michael Means of Panama City, FL, Scott Means of Wichita; grandchildren, Maddisen Means, Lily, Meadow, and Noah Swantic; great-grandson, Isaac Vail.
