Jean Magnolia (Hill) Powell

Jean Powell, 93, was born in Wichita, KS July 31, 1931 and passed away November 2, 2024 in Clearwater, Ks after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Jean was a homemaker, Kansas State Bank employee and member of Grace Communion. She loved to garden, play the piano, sing, travel, work crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family.

Jean is preceded in death by husband; Harold Powell; parents, William and Frances (Morrison) Hill; siblings, Virginia Vosburg and Morrison “Buddy” Hill; Half-Sister, Berma Vert.

Jean is survived by children; Lisa (Curtis) Cherney of Clearwater, Stuart (Robbie) Powell of Ponca City, OK, Kurt Powell of Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Friday, November 29, 2024 at Grace Communion Derby, 321 S Derby Ave, Derby, KS 67037.
