James “Dick” Wells, age 85, retired teacher, coach, principle and superintendent, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Visitation, Noon-7pm, Friday, January 13, with family present from, 5-7pm at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Services, 1pm, Saturday, January 14 at First Christian Church, Clearwater.
Preceded by his parents, Howard and Molly Wells; brother, Robert Wells. Survivors: wife, Rosalie Wells; children, Tom (Sharon) Wells of Tonganoxie, David (Rhonda) Wells of Wichita, Penny (Michael) Wambold of Halstead; sister, Mary Deardorff of Mulvane; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
