James “Jim” O. Kunkel, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Visitation with family, Sunday, June 14, from 1-3pm at Webb Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S Tracy, Clearwater, KS. Funeral services, Monday, June 15, 11am, at the First Christian Church, 524 Wood Ave, Clearwater, KS.
Preceded in death by loving wife of 63 yrs, Cheryl (Heitman) Kunkel; parents, James and Retha (Cheek) Kunkel; sister, Letha Thompson.
Survived by son, Daryn (Marlisa) Kunkel of Peck; grandchildren, Maggie and Ethan Kunkel; siblings, Bob (Carolyn) Kunkel, Sharon (Ron) Whistler, and Rickie Jo Hay all of Kansas City.
