Wichita, KS - Iris D. (Blankenship) Bush, age 85, LPN, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022.

Visitation, Noon-7pm, Thurs, Oct. 13, 2022, with family present, 5:30-7pm. Services, 11am, Fri, Oct 14, 2022, BOTH at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater.

Iris was born on Friday, August 20, 1937 in Covington, Virginia. She was the second of four children born to James Manny and Virginia Ray Blankenship. She was united in marriage to Jacob Lewis Bush, Sr. on November 7, 1955 in Chesterfield, South Carolina. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2003.

Iris was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob L. Bush, Sr; parents, James and Virginia Blankenship, son, Jay Bush Jr, sister, Janet Griffith; brothers, Buddy and Bobby Blankenship. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Bush of Clearwater, David Bush and Timothy Bush both of Wichita; grandchildren, Lacy, Amber, Wilsona and Christopher Bush.
