Harold "H.D." Mills, age 81, owner H.D. Mills and Sons/Southwest Salvage, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Visitation, 1-5pm, Sunday, November 12, 2017, with family present 3-5pm, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Services, 10:30am, Monday, November 13, 2017, at First Christian Church. Harold "H.D." was born on Wednesday, May 27, 1936 in Moline, Kansas, to his parents, Orville Edgar Mills and Audrey Gertrude (Wolverton) Mills. He was united in marriage to Joyce J. Murphy on September 24, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas. Preceded by parents, Orville “Sparky” and Audrey Mills; siblings, Dorothy Woods, Gene Mills, Beyrle Mills, Margie Clyde, Rodger Mills, Calvin Mills, Jack Mills, Betty Wilson, and Dane Mills; great-granddaughter, Sydnee Cash. Survivors: wife, Joyce; sons, Randy (Jane) Mills, Russell (Joni) Mills, Greg (Shari) Mills, all of Clearwater, Mark (Lori) Mills of Peck; sister, Pat Custer; sister-in-law, Wanda Lee Mills, both of Moline; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
