Ethel L. “Momo” Huff

Clearwater- Huff, Ethel L. “Momo” age 90, passed away in her home early in the morning, March 27, 2018 at the Village in Clearwater. Letty was born in Bismarck, MO, on December 10, 1927, and was married to Eugene Clarence Huff on August 11, 1948. She was fondly referred to by everyone as Momo and was beloved by family, friends, and the members of the Ness City Baptist church where she cradled many of them on her lap from their time in her Sunday school classes and nursery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Raymond and Mildred Ely; husband, Eugene Clarence Huff; brothers, Melvin, Henry Jr., Howard, and Frank Ely. She is survived by her son, Gary (Lynn) Huff of Nixa, MO; daughters, Nancy (Mick) VanDegrift of Hutchinson, KS, Janet (Rick) Ives of Clearwater, KS; 7 grandchildren and spouses; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren and was looking forward to a 4th great- great-grandchild. Momo was active with her friends at the Clearwater Village and with her church family at the First Baptist Church of Clearwater. She was a patriot, and loved being a member of the Rosedale Club, as well as hearing her family sing. Memorial Service, 11AM, Saturday, at the First Baptist Church, 306 Ross Ave. Clearwater, Kansas.
