Rosary, 7pm, Thursday, February 5 and Funeral Mass, 10:30am, Friday, February 6, BOTH at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 11000 W Southwest Blvd, Wichita, KS 67215.

Preceded in death by beloved wife, Arleen (Winderlin) Sponsel; parents, Ernest C. and Bessie (Murdock) Sponsel; 12 brothers and sisters; sons in-law, Alfred Martin and Tim Herl.

Survived by children, Shirley (Don) Martin-Grimm of Goddard, Clarence (Carol) Sponsel, Ernie (Vicky) Sponsel, Mary Foulk-Herl all of Wichita, Arleen (Tom) Bergkamp of Clearwater, Dorothy (Byron) Bergkamp of Mt. Hope, David Sponsel of Wichita, John (Barbara) Sponsel of Goddard, Therese (Dennis) Seiler of Wichita, Theodore (Susan) Sponsel of Goddard, and Paul (Rachel) Sponsel of Garden Plain; siblings, Ira Sponsel of Pittsburg and Evelyn Spainhower of Texas; 67 grandchildren; 134 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
