DR. Ronald L. Lamp passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, in 2004 and by both of his brothers, Ray and Ross Lamp. He is survived by 2 sisters: Marita (Terry) Clark of Dixon, MO, and Lynda Lamp of Wichita, KS. Ronald is also survived by his 2 children and their families: David and his wife, Melissa, of Andover, KS and Eric and his wife, Michelle, of Wichita, KS, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ronald was born on November 27, 1935 to the late Ralph and Hazel Lamp in Wichita, KS. He grew up working on his family’s farm where he began his life-long love of hunting and shooting competitively. On the farm, he also realized that he had a gift for fixing all things mechanical which eventually led to his interest in working on and racing sports cars. After graduating from Goddard High School, Ronald attended Friends University where he obtained a Business degree in 1957. He began his post-college career working at New England Life Company in Wichita. He met his wife, Ann, on a business trip to Boston where she also worked for New York Life. They developed a long-distance relationship and eventually married in 1961. They expanded their family in 1962 with the birth of their first son, David, and again with a 2nd son, Eric, in 1966.

In 1972, Ronald decided to make a career change and began attending Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, MO. While he was in St. Louis, he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and remained devoted to serving Him throughout his life. After completing his chiropractic degree in 1975, he opened Lamp Chiropractic Clinic in Wichita. Before he retired in 2003, Ronald opened and ran several chiropractic clinics across Colorado and Kansas.

To celebrate Ronald’s life, there will be visitation on Sunday, October 19 from 1-3PM with family present. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, at 10AM. both at Webb Shinkle Mortuary 200 S. Tracy Clearwater, KS.
