Services, 1:30pm, Friday, April 20, 2018 at Clearwater United Methodist Church. Dorothy was born on Monday, August 26, 1935 in Cherokee, Oklahoma. She was second born of three children to Wayne Oscar "Pat" Murphy and Stella Nadene (Alexander) Murphy. Dorothy was united in marriage to Charles Alton Gay on January 15, 1954. Preceded by husband, Charles; son, Mark; parents, Wayne “Pat” and Stella (Alexander) Murphy; brother, Bob Murphy. Survivors: step-son, Charles “Al” Gay, Jr, of NC; son, Rick Gay of Destin, FL; brother, Donald (Donna) Murphy of Wichita; grandchildren, Alisa Gay, Kenny Brady, and Sharon Gay; several great and great-great-grandchildren.
