Delores June King

Clearwater- Delores June King, age 78, ret. Boeing Expeditor, passed from her earthly home on Monday, June 18, 2018, just as she said she would. Visitation, 9am-7pm, Friday, June 22, 2018,  with family present 5:30-7pm, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Funeral Mass, 10am, Saturday, June 23, 2018, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Schulte. Delores June King was born on Thursday, June 13, 1940 in McLouth, Kansas. She grew up in Wichita and Sedgwick, Kansas. She retired from Boeing as an Expeditor/Dispatcher on August 29, 2002. She enjoyed sewing, stained glass, crocheting, knitting and painting. Preceded by beloved mother Ida Maye (Denny) McCurdy and step-father, Charles McCurdy; sisters, Betty (Albert) Miller, Bonnie King; twin brother, Donald (Rose) King, nephews, Charles Meeks, Duane Cool; niece, Linda Gilligan. She leaves behind her loving children, Darrell (Lori) Allen of Burrton, KS, Darla (Bryan) Loger of Clearwater, Spencer Allen of Wichita; brothers, Thomas McCurdy of Ark City, KS, Charles (Paula) McCurdy, Robert (Barbara) McCurdy, all of Goddard; ex-husband, Ray (Deola) Allen of Carr Lane, MO; grandchildren, Traci Loger of Papillion, NE, Amber (Corey) Good of Cheney, Dane Loger of Wichita, Mackenzie (Jack) Reed of Mesa, AZ, and Shelbi (Matt) Doffing of Derby;  great-grandchildren, Peyton Allen Good, Leah June Doffing, and Grace Kathryn Doffing; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
