Darrel E. Cotton

Darrel E. Cotton, age 83, retired installer leadman for Cessna and former fireman for the Independence Fire Department, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025.

Viewing, 10-11am, Thursday, May 8 with Services following at 11am, at Calvary Baptist Church, Derby.

Darrel was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Cotton; sons, Lonnie Abbott, Barrie Cotton; parents, Oscar and Cornelia Cotton; siblings, Glenn Cotton, Delwin Cotton Sr. He is survived by his children, Butch Abbott, Pamela Nevergall; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Abbott, Billie Cotton; siblings, Dwaine (Kathy) Cotton; Dale (LaVonda) Cotton, Darla Rowe, Dwight (Kathy) Cotton, Diann Miller, Debbie Carter; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
