Cleo was born on Monday, July 18, 1927 in rural Milan, Kansas, to Clarence Cleo Ray and Alta Bertha Bingham Ray. He was united in marriage to Joy Sue Pace on April 24, 1953 in Argonia, Kansas. Cleo was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alta (Bingham) Ray; siblings, Bonnie Langford, Dixie Kalivoda, and Melvin Ray; grandson, Casey Joe Ray. Survivors: wife, Sue Ray; children, Aleta Allen and companion, Michael Kretzer of San Antonio, TX, Monty and Gail Ray of Clearwater, Brent and Sheila Ray of Valley Center; siblings, Roger Ray of Milan, Max Ray of Parish, TX, Billie June Whaley of Perth, KS, Joyce Jones of Cheney; grandchildren, Monica, Toni, and Josie Ray, Justin, Michael, and Stephanie Allen, Jackie Ray; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Kennedy.
