Peck - Carroll E. Kerley, age 95, lifelong farmer, ret. postmaster, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Visitation, 9am-7pm, Friday, December 15th with family present, 5:30-7pm, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Services, 1:30pm, Saturday, December 16th, at First Christian Church, Clearwater. Carroll was born on Tuesday, September 12, 1922 in Wichita, Kansas. He was the oldest son born to Roy and Delia (Lauterbach) Kerley. He was united in marriage to Lourine Mildred Heitman on February 3, 1946. Preceded by parents, Roy and Delia (Lauterbach) Kerley; step-mother, Dorothea (Martin) Kerley; daughter, Marsha Frey. Survivors: wife of 71 years, Lourine; son, Don Kerley and wife, Linda Lollar of Erie, KS; brother Marlin (Mary) Kerley of Belle Vista, AR; son-in-law, Ed Frey of Wichita; grandson, Aaron Frey; niece, Cheryl (James) Kunkel of Clearwater; numerous nieces and nephews.
