Bernetta E. (Lies) Girrens age 85, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. Visitation, 9am-4pm, Wednesday, July 26th, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Rosary, 7pm, Wednesday, July 26th. Funeral Mass, 10:30am, Thursday, July 27th, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Schulte. Her residents was Dove Estates in Goddard. Bernetta was born October 15, 1931 in Colwich, KS. She married Leroy in 1951, they were married 55 years. They had two sons Mark and Gregg. Bernetta worked at Cessna Aircraft for 34 years. She enjoyed going to casinos with friends and crocheting. Preceded by parents, Henry and Philomena (Minnie) Lies; husband, Leroy F. Girrens; sisters Roseline Bohrer, Joanne Hatwig; brothers, Norbert Lies, Don Lies. Survivors: children, Mark Girrens of Clearwater and Gregg (Dianne) Girrens of Goddard; sisters-in-law, Donna Lies and Mary Lies both of Colwich; brother-in-law, Leo Hatwig of Fort Smith, AR; grandchildren, Grant (Amber) Girrens of Goddard and Kara (Kyle) Franks of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Evan and Alivia Girrens, Kyler, Braelea and Mason Franks.
